Table meeting in mm5- no computers but ipads used for brief research purposes

Our group came together with 3 main areas of focus:


- Cutting the list of artist names down to one appropriate name
- Discussing the overall image of the artists in relation to the style of the debut video
- Establishing how our decided record label ( RedPigeon Recordings) is funded


As a result we decided that:

-  Stuck between the 2 names Hex and Nettles we went with nettles, agreeing that it could be shortened to NTLS

-We realised from research that artist image often differs dramatically to how they are styled in videos- therefore we want to present our artist as quirky to show their youthful careless  attitudes

- We decided that our record label should be an offbranch of the SME (Sony) record label, focused on british electronic indie artists and based in London.

Artist:

- We decided our artists will be a black female and white male duo- linking races and making the urban modern artists more relatable

-They shall not be accompanied by a band, as they are electronic artists

- They are also rather independent- producing their own tracks

We chose for the focus of our next meeting to be on developing the timeline for our music video and deciding on how to cut ou track down as it is currently over the 3 minute limit. Once decided, we will be able to storyboard the key shots in preparation for our animatic.
